Fabled Waters

Fabled Waters

Ahoy matey! Welcome to the inspiration for the Fabled Waters collection. Interestingly enough, this is one of the first ideas I had for a collection, I just kept changing my mind about how I wanted to execute it. Anyway, without further ado, lets sail away into the inspiration for the different polishes!

Siren Song

I wanted this polish to resemble the stunning waters of the ocean. I also wanted it to be something that calls to you, much like a siren does to a sailor. This polish is packed with blue flakies (to kind of feel like scales and or the water) and glitter to tie in how water sparkled sometimes.

Sailor's Cry

For this one, I wanted to emulate the feeling of a sailor spending all this time to find his treasure, only for it to be a ruse. I imagine a sailor falling to his knees, with his "gold" tumbling out of his hands as he cries out. This polish looks bronze when not magnetized and I love it.

Sea Serpent's Secret

This one I was going for a green look (obviously) but I decided to name it Sear Serpent's Secret because of its magnetic nature. Its slick like a serpent and reveals more when magnetized. Like imagine a serpent creature guarding the cave with the treasure inside or one that you have to meet on your journey that has a clue for the next step in your hunt.

Treasured Wares

For this I wanted to capture a sunset but also bring in the gold that everyone is looking for. I love how this polish looks so different depending on what light you're in and how its just as mystic as the rest of the collection.

Anyway, thanks for reading my ramblings!
